Saturday Insanity

Saturday started off with a early morning cross country meet.

Charlotte was so nervous! This girl gets the jitters.

She just about caught the girl in front of her, but wasn't too upset with 3rd place!
(And very proud of her first running medal.)

Here's the start of Berkley's race. Unfortunately, I forgot to take more pictures!  I was preoccupied.  She was doing so great and then her (new, favorite) headband fell off, so she went back for it!  That really upset her and took the wind out of her sails.  The good news is she held it together, kept running, and finished well, just not as well as she would have liked.  We're hoping Wednesday's meet will be incident-free!

I did, however, remember to take some pictures of her at her soccer game later that morning.

The Clover Snakes (as they named themselves - girls liked Clover, boys wanted Snakes) won their first game against Messiah! We're on a winning team this year! Woo-hoo!
