Cross Country has started and both Berkley and Charlotte get to run this year.
Charlotte was very nervous for her first meet ever, although you really can't tell from this picture.
Charlotte runs with the K-2nd graders. But she did great! She surprised everyone I think. She ended up coming in 5th out of 30+ runners! She has a lot of drive. She just kept pushing and moving up.
Berkley runs in the 3-4th grade race this year, which is a little longer - 3/4 mile! Here she is with the usual suspects. She had a rough race... was tripped and fell, got a bad cramp, etc. Rough way to start the season, but let's see what the next meet will bring! Go, Berkley!
