Getting Slipperier

Berkley and Charlotte both seem to be really improving in their swimming. Last night's swim meet was the smoothest yet, I'd say. To top it off, Aunt Sonya was here to watch!

(Charlotte on the left, Berkley on the right, above.)
Charlotte made HUGE improvements this week.  She seems to have started to figure out breathing to the side, which means so many fewer stops, a much faster time, and a very happy little girl!  She was beaming at how much easier it was to swim!
Charlotte and her little friend (and by little I mean 4½, not tiny) Sarah. Sarah is in just about all of Charlotte's events and they have become friends.  Consequently, Hazel thinks Sarah is her cousin Abby and refuses to call her anything but Abby.   (She also calls Sarah's dad Uncle Nate, although he doesn't really look like Uncle Nate...)

Berkley's backstroke is really coming along. She'd be cruising if it wasn't for those pesky lanelines.  She was on top of them twice!  Anyone have any tips on how she can stay straight?

Killing time with friends. (These meets last for about 5 hours or so. We usually leave after about 3½ or 4! By then, Hazel has gotten into as much trouble as is possible.)

Yeah swim team! I really wish I skiied, golfed, swam and played tennis growing up. It would come in handy as an adult living in Sun Valley. Hugs to everyone.
