Once again this year we tried to go and cut down our Christmas tree, but when we arrived, they wouldn't let us on the lot; they were closing for the evening. Home Depot got our business again.
This girl is really into hats and mittens. Now to work on her legwear for the snow...
The 3rd and 4th graders led worship for the second week in Advent. Berkley had a reading part and played piano for the pre-service music. She was quite nervous, but did a great job.
Hazel's PDO (parent's day out) class sang Away in a Manger at the beginning of Saturday night's service. She was SO EXCITED. No nerves here. Can you tell?
It's hard getting this one to be serious for a picture. I told her to smile like something was funny and that's what I got...
Time to pump out dozens and dozens of Christmas cookies! The girls love this time of year.
Even Hazel helped out a little bit.
We got hammered (8") of snow on Saturday morning. Hazel's performance was almost canceled. (This is Missouri, folks, not New England or Utah. Snow is crippling.)
As it turned out, both big girls already had friends coming over. The snow just made it that much more fun.
So do Christmas movies and hot chocolate.
