Jason's parents, aka grandma and grandpa with the stairs, came to visit us this past weekend. We had such a good time. The girls really miss having grandparents around, so they relished every minute and were so depressed when they had to leave this morning. Grandparents, phase 1 over. Phase 2 will start when my parents arrive a few days before Easter!

We had planned to go tubing, but opted to skate instead since 1. it was closer and 2. Berkley's a big fan!
Now Charlie is too! They loved it.
Berkley's slow and steady...and working on her turns. Charlie is fast and furious, dancing around like a jitterbug, but somehow manages to stay up...

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday while he was here with some Treasure Cake (my mom's amazing recipe!)...
..and went for a quick, cold spin through Beus Park...for good form!

cute. even though having family in town is slightly exhausting.... it is SOOO great. that pic of Charlie falling (mid air) is awesome:) looks like fun.
