Our trip back east

Ready to fly

We had a four hour layover in Minneapolis, so we called up our good friends from sem, the Nafzgers, and hung out with them for a couple of hours. It was fun!

Long lost buddies: Olivia, Berkley, Charlie, and Johann

And their new baby August, whom we had never met before

Pete and Jay

me and Katie

In true Charlotte fashion, she made her traditional trip to the doctor for an ear infection. Glad we caught it early this time!

DOMINOES!

Jen, me, Jay, Andrea, and Kevin

Tim -a measly third place -hehe

The Fourth of July

Berkley hauled that flag all the way from Utah for the big day.

With grandpa with the chickens

grandma, anders, lily, charlie, berkley, and erika

the silly boys and their "beards"...

ready for rain, cause you just never know around here...

Uhh...bathing suit?

Chow time

hello Gigers!

that was one fast moving turtle!

delaney, hunter, and lily loving the frigid water

it's much warmer on the deck.

Charlotte loved Prilla and Tink and wanted them to lick her feet....all the time.

Charlotte and Anders

catching bubbles

HAPPY 4TH - WE LOVE AMERICA!

Charlie, Delaney, Berkley, and Lily after church

Tractor rides with Grandpa are lots of fun.

They chased the tractor up and down the driveway too.

More fun at Cheryl and Dave's.

Some fishes for my fishes:

The New England Aquarium

Auntie Jen came along!

Touching the starfish

Renee and her new little man, Ian McCarthy (isn't that a perfect name for a redhead?)

It sure was fun to see Renee and her kids- Sophia is GREAT - such a little spitfire.

We also saw Brian Lamoureax (my great friend from high school), his wife Beth, and 15 month old daughter Grace. So cute!

Grace

Berkley was quite the little "mother" to all my friends' babies. I think we have a future babysitter on our hands...

Kristin Motta's (I mean, Lambert's) one-year-old Sam. She looks JUST like Kristin!

This is the only good shot I got of her because she kept wincing at the camera, anticipating the harsh flash! so funny...

And here is Tanja and her one-year-old Hannah.

Cutie pie

Tanja and Ian live in Newport, RI, so we got to spend a little bit of time at the beach. Ahhh, how I miss the beach...

Running, running, running on the sand.

Since our family back east doesn't get to celebrate birthdays with us, we had a little joint birthday party for Berkley and Charlotte!

Mmmmm...treasure cake...

Berkley and Charlotte sure had a lot of fun with Delaney, Lily, and Hunter this trip.

Bye Daddy! See you in a few days.

Some fun down time with grandma and grandpa.

This one is in front of the swamp.

A few more tractor rides with grandpa

Collecting the chickens' eggs

Grandma and Grandpa having some downtime too (looking out over the beautiful swamp!)

Hanging in there for the long trip home to Utah...all smiles when there are chips to eat!

Charlie just planted herself down on the floor and started reading magazines. Like a true traveling pro.

Almost home.
