Berkley's Advent Program
December 3rd
The 5th-6th graders put on little skits about the true meaning of Christmas for the first Wednesday in Advent.
This is me running the St. Jude Memphis Marathon on December 6th. It was pretty fun, despite an IT band injury. Jason came with me for runner support while Aunt Sonya stayed (and played) with the girls.

Time to start baking cookies!
(If only I hadn't eaten 1/3 of the dough in the days leading up to baking them, we'd have had many more cookies...)
These girls love to help. Hazel just couldn't believe she was old enough to do this. She said that several times.
Ready for their Christmas piano recital
This was a hallmark event; neither messed up at all! They were happy campers!
Charlotte played Reindeer(s) are better than people from Frozen, Berkley played Ding Dong Merrily on High, and their duet together was O Come All Ye Faithful. Beautiful!
And the next day was Hazel's Preschool Program.
She was so excited to get her hair curled. That's really what these smiles are all about, although the whole thing was pretty exciting...
...until it came time to ring. Then she was as serious as can be! So funny. Completely focused on ringing that bell at the right time!
It was an adorable program with singing from all the other preschools (there are 6!) and 2 kindergartens.
