March Madness

My lacrosse side job has some perks; it took me to Puerto Rico for 3 days in March. Not too shabby! And a really nice escape from the 5°F I left behind!

My friend Arin came along and turned it into a mini vacation for herself. It was really nice to have some company.

Old San Juan

Grandma came out to help Jason keep things running in my absence! They did great and had a really fun visit - I just wish I got to see my mom a little longer than a day!

Thanks, Mom!

Unfortunately, Grandparents' day was about a week after Grandma left, but Carla went as Charlotte's "Special Person"...

And Joan Martin accompanied Berkley as her "Special Person." They both had great days with their special friends!

A glimpse of Spring is enough to get these kids outside! Thank goodness!

(Kate with "Hazel hair," as she puts it!)

Since we didn't plan any trips over Spring break, we set one day aside to head to the zoo...

 with friends!

Look at that azure butterfly fly in and land on Charlotte's head!
Sydney was a little skittish, but let one land on her as well!

The butterfly house is nice and WARM! Don't let the shorts deceive you; it was only 50 and very windy this day! Those in shorts had permanent goose bumps.
