just not quite as devotedly...
here are few pictures of our winter. I think my last post was around...Halloween? really? Wow, how far and how fast I fall!
THANKSGIVING with Grandma, Grandpa, Bestemor, and the Schneider/Kjendals!
Hazel loved her Bestemor-time.
Good old Seamus's.
Pie-baking time
Reading time
Family time!
Mockery time (I believe he lost a bet...but ask Nate.)
Cousins time!
Streaking time
And back to reading time!
It sure was fun to have family in town for Thanksgiving! Our first!
Thanks, everyone, for making the trip!
NEXT
Looking for a Christmas tree in 70 degree weather. And the sad part is that we ended up getting one at Home Depot! We walked this whole lot and couldn't find a tree suitable. The extreme summer killed most of them.
Christmas recital! (squeezed in between school Christmas programs)
And Christmas Eve haircuts (a first for this one.)
Merry Christmas Eve!
We spent Christmas as a five-some. It was a nice, low-key Christmas this year. This turned out to be a good thing, since Christmas dinner was disgusting! Certainly not fit for guests! (unless I was trying to drive them away...)
Happy Birthday, Daddy!
Lookin' good for a geezer.
We did get to celebrate Christmas again a couple of days later with Peg and Steve. Fun times.
We even got to enjoy a St. Louis snowstorm! More than we got the whole of last winter!
Odds and ends
She fits into Mom's Norwegian dress! Now THAT makes me feel old!
Jason's Labor of Love (he might not call it that...) Now we have a place for everyone to stay when they come to visit. yee-haw!
And thanks, grandpa, for the cool built-ins!
Don't ask me...these moves say "Jason" all over them!
