Besties from the westies

The McFarlands came to visit us!  Our buds from UT flew in to see us last weekend. So fun. 

But we were again reminded about how much we miss them and all our UT friends!

The girls played hooky on Friday and we hit the zoo. 

It was 25°F so we were the only people there! (freezing our buns off...)

Funny, in the summer, we can only stay in the penguin area for a few minutes before we get too cold...this time it was warmer inside their igloo than outside!

Hazel just loved this orangutan.  She was almost in tears with excitement and kept trying to step into his habitat!

The butterfly house ROCKED. I've never seen so many butterflies in there!  It was nice and warm too.  We stayed so long, they probably thought we were part of the jungle.

 One even landed on Charlotte's head!
