she arrived fashionably early (via pitocin) on august 31st at 12:31 pm; 6 pounds 12 ounces, 19½ inches.

and there she is! a special thanks to my nurse, who delivered Hazel's head before the doctor arrived! phew!

Hazel Hadley! Welcome! What a beautiful name!! Your big girls are so beautiful--Berkley looks just like you when she's cooing over her in the bassinet... And Charlie!?? She suddenly just looks older compared to new Hazel!
My favorite newborn pictures are always the just-born, dangling legs photo.

Thanks for inviting me to come see Hazel tonight. She is pretty, precious, and petite. Alex thinks she looks like Jason. :0) We are so happy for you guys. The girls are going to be great helpers for you. Congrats again!
