What a day, what a day!

Berkley is SIX. Unbelievable.

Happy birthday, bug!
She had some of her friends over for a little party in the afternoon.

Bubbles...
bouncehouse fun...

(Who doesn't love lemonade with umbrellas?)

swings...

and silly girls! Makes for great fun.

Ok...I had to include a picture of the cake because this cake is my nemesis! It took me at least 3 hours to bake and FROST it and then it had the audacity to start melting...so it gets a spot in the day's memories!
(Luckily, this time it was actually tasty!)

Berkley decided not to have presents at her party this year; she figured she already had everything she could want (especially considering her day at the AG store in Chicago - thx G&Gs!), so she collected money for World Vision instead.
We played a little Wonderball and Berkley was the winner! In three years of birthday parties with several games at each one, she has never won before. She was a little excited about it.

{Charlotte, Berkley, Sidney, Cate, Kamryn, Allison, and Jayden}

And, to follow tradition, a little game of pin-the-petal-on-the-flower.

Cute stuff. Exhausting, but cute.
And once all the friends had gone, the girls had a little bandanarama.

Slap-happy and sugar-filled.

She DID get a few presents from the family!
Charlotte gave her a couple pairs of earrings...

And the year-long wait for the "Jasmine dressup" is finally over!

Goofy birthday girl.

The family celebrated with what was left of the day's goodies.

A ride through Beus Park finished the day!

Happy Birthday to my little lady! What a day!
