And we even got to have dinner with friends. The loyal McFarlands squeezed us in to their crazy Christmas day so we wouldn't have to eat alone! So sweet.
After dinner, we'd thought we'd really give the girls a treat and take them to their very first movie at the movie theatre. We went to see The Tale of Despereaux, but only made it through halfway. For two little girls who cry at the cat in Cinderella, this was just too scary. Maybe another year!
